Brilianty byly zalozeny 15.7.1941 a bylo jimi vyznamenáno 27 muzů (Heer 11, Kriegsmarine 2, Luftwaffe 12, Waffen-SS 2). Zlatý kříž byl založen 29.12.1944 a mělo jím být vyznamenáno 12 nejzaslouzilejších mužů Říse po vítězné válce.
